Playground Equipment Maintenance
Anyone here know the costs involved in building a playground?
Specifically, building a kindergarten playground.. Where do you buy the equipment from and how much is installation, maintenance, etc.?
Check out some of your large hardware stores in your area. Like Mennards, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. They sell the items needed to make the playground equipment. Items like slides, various types of swings, ladders, etc.
You can hire somebody to install the items. But if your handy with some basic woodworking tools it not that bad. If your not handy maybe you have some friends or relatives who are.
Take a look around at other playgrounds to get a idea on how to build one. But they also do sell books in the how to section of these hardware store on building them.
As for a total price it’s really hard to say. It all depends on the size & what features you want.
