what size wood for swingset?
what size wood for a beam across and legs for a basic wooden swingset would be needed?
My swing will need to be much more stronger since i’ll be having 4 middle swings and will span 13feet min across the top beam and 8 ft from the ground.
(obviously pressure treated type of wood )

im guessing the last suggestion of 4X6X12feet is not going to help me …im looking for an answer from someone who can calcuate weight factors and know how much 3-4 swings over a 13 foot min span will require in wood size
Built a kit swingset with a friend. It required a 4X6X12 on edge for the top beam and 4X4 “legs”. It cost him about $750 for the hardware kit (included swings, tarp, slides, etc) and the wood(he got a fancy one). Good luck!
