How to get rid of green tint on wooden swing set?
We are getting a used swing set, about 10 years old. Still in great shape, very well built. However, it had been under trees in the shade and the wood has a green tint to it. Almost like a moss or mildew. Not something you can scrape off, but the actual wood is turned color. Someone said bleach water mixture, scrub, and sit in the sun for a few days?? Any recomendations? we plan on sanding it in spots and covering it in some sort of sealant. Any ideas on that too?
deck wash, bleach and water mixture-50/50,pressure washing. after its clean make sure you stain it or seal it so you dont have to do it every 3 years or however long it has been.
