Wooden Swing Set Rainbow
Need tips and information on buying a wooden swing set you used?
I am thinking of buying a wooden swing set used / Structure of the game. I look at a pair of Rainbow brand, and yield. I wondered how well it holds when taken apart, transported and then re-assembled. If someone has done this before, let me know how it worked out for you. Do not want to waste my money, even those that are used can be very expensive ..
We have helped to move a wooden playground oversized home of our son who sold his new home. The children loved the set so it was worth the change. (Three swings, slide 8 feet, six feet tall strong at the top, bars, etc.) The set was about 6 years old and the wood was still in very good condition since it is treated wood. Examine the playground with great care and know how old you are, if possible. It took four men eight hours to disassemble, load onto the truck bed long and reassemble the whole. My husband drew a diagram of the playground and marking parts so I put it back together was more efficient. You will have to dig holes leg to measure your garden space and mark the ground to indicate where the legs should be placed according to where they were in the yard that is coming. Anything you can think of to do in the preparation makes the job easier. Get lots of help and be prepared to run to the hardware store if the bolts break. These sets Games are worth the time and effort to move. Good luck.
